Chef owner Mark Brown who previously worked for the Royal Air Force and as Private Dining Chef to the Hon Mr. and Mrs. Simon Howards
family at the Stately Home, Castle Howard. During the same period also having the pleasure of cooking for Earl Spencer at Althorp,
along with His Royal Highness Prince William. Finally realising his dream in 2009, he purchased the Half Moon, Sharow fast gaining the accolade of
best restaurant in the area. For many of our discerning clientele booking is of course Highly Recommended.
Function Facilities at the Half Moon
There are two private function rooms suitable for birthday parties, christenings, anniversaries, wedding parties and Business lunches.
Our private dining room is suitable for seating 6 - 18 covers, and a further room seating 35 covers. We can cater for up to 50 covers buffet style.
